Your website's typography plays a big role in creating consistent brand experience. Showit makes it easy to update your fonts but it's important to make changes thoughtfully to keep your design looking its best!
Understanding Typography
Typography refers to how text is displayed on your website, including:
Font family
Font size
Font weight
Line height
Letter spacing
Text color
Text alignment
Together, these settings help create a clear visual hierarchy and improve readability.
Updating Fonts
If you'd like to update the font on your website, simply select a text box and use the Text Properties panel to make your changes.
Keep in mind that changing the font of one text box will only affect that specific text box.
Maintaining Consistency
For the most cohesive look, we recommend using the same font styles consistently throughout your website
For example:
One style for headings
One style for subheadings
One style for body text
This creates a more professional experience and makes your content easier to read.
Before Changing Fonts
If your website was designed by me, your fonts were chosen to complement your branding and work well together.
While you're welcome to make changes, I recommend doing so thoughtfully, as changing fonts can affect spacing, alignment, and the overall design of your website.

Good to Know
If you change a font and notice that text wraps differently or spacing looks off, that's completely normal. Different fonts take up different amounts of space so you may need to make a few small adjustments after updating your typography.
