Buttons and links help visitors navigate your website and take action, whether that's buying a book, getting in touch, downloading a resource, or visiting another page.
In Showit, you can easily update where a button or link takes your visitors using a Click Action.
Updating a Button Link
To update a button link, select the button in the Showit editor and open the Click Action settings in the right side panel.
From there, you can choose where you'd like the button to go.
Buttons can link to:
Another page on your website
A section on the same page
An external website URL
An email address
A social link
Updating a Text Link
Text can also be linked using a Click Action. Simply select the text you'd like to update and choose the appropriate destination from the Click Action settings.
Test Your Links
After updating a button or link, it's always a good idea to preview your website and test it before publishing. This helps ensure visitors are being directed to the correct page or destination.
