This is Step 7 of a series: How to Create a Giving Experience 🎉
All donations made through your GE will go towards the Primary Fund by default.
Add a desired Name for the Primary Fund, and select the associated Accounting Code.
If there's no Accounting Code option to select from, simply choose a code you'd like to use and hit Enter.
DonorPerfect Mapping
If you're using DonorPerfect, choose where funds get mapped to via the dropdown list.
The dropdown includes all of the default fields (General Ledger, Campaign, Solicitation, Sub Solicitation) as well as any custom fields that have been added to the integration.
⚠️ If you map a fund to DonorPerfect within the Funds & Accounting tab, it will grey out that specific field within the main Integration settings for the Giving Experience.
For example, if you map to General Ledger here:
You won't be able to map General Ledger within the GE's Integrate settings (it'll appear greyed out, un-editable, and say "Fund Designations"):
If you want to avoid the greyed-out field, set DonorPerfect Mapping to None within the Funds & Accounting tab.

Allow Fund Designations
Allow supporters to choose which fund to donate to within a Giving Experience.
Remember: The more choice you give your donors, the more you will DECREASE your conversions.
Asking your donors to choose their fund during their donation experience can negatively impact conversions by as much as 10%.
If you want to ensure every possible measure is being taken to convert the most devoted support for your mission, consider running entirely separate campaigns for each fund, and only for the funds that matter most.
After switching on Allow Fund Designations, you can add up to 24 additional funds to the fields shown below, ensuring that both Accounting Funds & Accounting Codes are filled in accordingly:
Once you've added all of the funds that you wish to be offered to your supporters, Save changes!
Note: Funds are multilingual ✨
If you've enabled more than one language, this will provide a language toggle in the top left corner of your GE.
Don't forget to switch to the other languages and complete the fields there too!
How do Fund Designations Appear Within the GE?
From the supporter's side, the fund selection appears as a dropdown in the middle of the GE.
The Primary Fund Name will be selected by default, and supporters can click on the arrow to view a list of the alternative funds available.
Which Fund Did a Supporter Give To?
When a contribution is made to a GE with multiple fund options, you can view which fund was selected.
Within the Contribution page, the Fund name will appear under the GE name:
Also, if you go to Contributions > Contribution Line Items, there's a Fund column included for a convenient preview:
Import lists and supporter invoices will include the selected fund that was contributed to.
