How to Set Probationary Periods

Instructions to create standard probationary periods and notifications prior to completion

Managers can check team membership in SaucedIt to confirm which employees are grouped together within a team. This makes it easy to verify who receives team communications and has access to shared documents, ensuring records remain accurate and current. This guide explains how to check team membership.

Setting Probationary Periods

  1. Click on the cog at the top right.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select Account Settings.

  3. Scroll down to Probationary Periods.

  4. To the right, click on Update.

  5. Here you can see the existing probationary period options.

  6. Add the new probationary period in the box provided.

  7. To the right, specify how long before the end of an employee’s probation you wish to be reminded it is close to completion.

  8. You can add as many probationary periods as you wish.

  9. These options will show when setting up contracts and conditions for new employees.

  10. Click Save.
