How to Copy a Roster Budget

Instructions to duplicate an existing roster budget in a new period

Copying a roster budget allows an existing budget to be reused for a new period without starting from scratch. This helps maintain consistent labour cost planning across weeks while saving time on manual setup. By copying the budget forward, managers can quickly review and adjust figures as needed for the new roster period. This guide explains how to copy a roster budget.

Copying a Roster Budget

  1. Click on Budget in the left-hand column.

  2. Select the relevant location from the dropdown menu.

  3. The roster budget for the current week will display.

  4. Underneath Budget, click Overview.

  5. To the right of the relevant location, select Copy to next week.

  6. Click Copy to confirm.

  7. Use the arrow to the right of the current roster period to toggle to the next week’s budget.

  8. Your roster budget has now been copied to the new period.
