If you sell THC-containing products on SauceyDirect, you must upload a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each applicable product. This helps ensure compliance with state regulations and platform requirements.
⚙️ Step-by-Step: Uploading a COA
Go to your Merchant Dashboard.
Navigate to Catalog > Products.
Find the product that contains THC.
Click the 📄 (page icon) next to the product name — this opens the document upload window.
In the upload window, select Upload File and attach your COA (PDF, JPG, or PNG).
Once uploaded, the document will automatically save to that product’s record.
That’s it! Your COA is now attached to the product for compliance verification.
🧩 COA Requirements
Must include THC potency and batch number.
The batch number on the COA must match the product’s batch ID in your catalog.
Accepted file types: PDF, JPG, or PNG.
One COA per product — if you need to update, simply upload a new file and it will replace the old one.
⚠️ Important
At this time, COAs are only required for products that contain THC.
You do not need to upload COAs for:
Nicotine or tobacco products
CBD-only or kratom products
Accessories or non-consumable items
✅ Pro Tip:
Keep COAs current — if a product changes batches or suppliers, upload the new COA right away to avoid compliance interruptions.
