Uploading your menu is a key step in getting your SauceyDirect site up and running. Below is everything you need to know about the upload process, what we accept, and how to make sure your inventory is online quickly and accurately.
✅ Your Menu Upload Options
You’ve got several ways to get your product menu online—choose the one that works best for your team:
1. Price Sheet (Preferred) – Fastest Upload
We’ll send you a simple price sheet to fill out. Once completed, we can upload it immediately—no delays. This is the fastest and cleanest way to get your store live.
2. CSV Upload – 1–2 Week Processing Time
If you have a formatted product list, send it to us as a .CSV file with the following fields:
Category
Brand
Product Name
Volume
Sell Price
UPC (optional)
Important: For certain categories, please include detailed info in the Volume column:
Disposable Vapes: Nicotine % and e-liquid mL
Rolling Papers: Paper size, tips (Y/N?), # of leaves
E-Liquids/Nicotine Salts: Nicotine mg and bottle size in mL
Please allow 1–2 weeks for QC and upload. We'll follow up if anything needs clarification.
3. POS Integration – Automated Sync
If you use a supported POS system, we can integrate directly to pull your product list.
⚠️ Heads up: POS data must be well-maintained for this to work smoothly. Inconsistent inventory or poor categorization in your POS can lead to a messy menu online.
4. Self-Service Upload – Full Merchant Control
If you'd rather handle everything yourself, you can build your menu directly in your SauceyDirect dashboard using two tools:
All Verified Products – Add products from our pre-approved database. Just set your price and publish—easy and fast.
My Custom Products – For anything not in our database (like niche items or store-specific products), use this to create listings from scratch.
This option gives you full control and flexibility, especially if you’re tech-savvy or want to add new products on the fly.
📤 How to Send Files (if using options 1–3)
Send your file or completed sheet to your SauceyDirect rep or email it to support@sauceydirect.com. You can also upload it through your onboarding form if available.

We only upload products in these categories:
Snacks
Tobacco
Nicotine
CBD
Delta
Kratom
Items outside of these (e.g., clothing, jewelry, glass, etc.) must be added by you through My Custom Products. This is because anything we upload is added to our shared product database for future clients.
💡 Quick Notes
One free menu upload is included per store during onboarding. After that, your menu is self-managed.
You can request additional uploads in the future (fees may apply).
Product photos are sourced by Saucey and added to the products in our database for all merchants to use.
