You can register a vehicle in Florida without actually driving the vehicle to Florida as long as you complete Form 82042. You can complete this form by bringing it to a police station anywhere in the US, and having a US police officer verify the VIN and milage.

Most users have no problem getting this form completed by a police officer. However, for some unknown reason, police officers in California generally will not complete this form. Our California users generally drive to Nevada, where they can get this form completed.
