What Are Business Registrations?
Business registrations allow businesses to submit their official and accurate information either before or during a nomination ballot. This ensures that the correct details are available for use throughout the contest process.
When registering, businesses can provide important information such as:
The official spelling of the business name
The business logo
Location-specific registrations if the business has multiple locations or franchises
If a business operates in multiple locations, each location can submit its own registration for the ballot.
What Do Business Registrations Do?
Business registrations help both the publication and the contest platform manage business information more effectively.
Key benefits include:
Distinguishing between locations or franchises easily
Ensuring the correct spelling and branding for each business
Providing accurate contact and business information if a business advances from the nominations phase to the final voting phase, or if the business wins
What Business Registrations Do Not Do?
Itβs important to understand what business registrations do not do:
They do not guarantee that a business will appear on the ballot
They do not override or supersede voting results
They do not cost anything β submitting a business registration is completely free
