How do you cancel or remove an event from the calendar? - event submitter

**NON-ADMIN USER, EVENT SUBMITTER**

Non-admin users that have submitted the event in question have two options to remove or cancel their events:

1. The confirmation email that was sent after submission has a button to cancel their event. The user must have been the submitter of the event to have received this email and it will be sent to the email address provided during login. A user may need to check their junk mail in some cases.

2. A user can log into hub.cityspark.com to find and manage their submitted events. This includes several options on each event including event cancellation and removal. A user will only be able to see and cancel events that they have submitted.

Note that any events canceled or removed in either of these ways will trigger a courtesy email to all admins that are designated for notifications, that the event has been canceled. The event will already have been removed from your online calendar and this is a courtesy only, and no additional action is required.

**NON-ADMIN USER, NON-SUBMITTER**

To ensure a comprehensive local calendar, CitySpark aggregates local events from hundreds of sources in each market. Thus, in many cases an event is listed on the calendar without the organizer having to submit it directly. In such cases, a user has a multiple options to cancel their event:

1. The user can click on the event and then click "Edit" in the bottom right corner of the details page to suggest an edit to the event. The title should be edited to include "Canceled--" at the beginning. Upon approval of the edit (by either manual or automated means), it will appear as "Canceled..."

2. An email can be sent to support@cityspark.com notifying us of a cancellation and we will remove it from the calendar or in cases where the cancellation is short notice, we may append "Cancelled" to the title.

3. An email may be sent to your calendar manager, who can then remove or cancel the event according the the options listed in the Admin section above, or forward the request to support@cityspark.com.
