Scentech's scent oil comes in a separate bottle by default. When you open your diffuser for the first time, there's an oil reservoir inside the diffuser. You're meant to pour the scent oil into this reservoir.
Unscrew the scent bottle (the ScentPod) and carefully pour the contents into the reservoir. Then screw the reservoir firmly back into the device. That way you can be sure it closes properly and works as intended.
In the past there's sometimes been confusion, because we've used different bottles to package the scent oil. With one type of bottle, it looked like you could screw it directly into the diffuser, but that wasn't the idea. That bottle didn't seal properly, which could cause oil to leak.

In most cases everything goes fine. If you pour the scent neatly into the reservoir, the chance of problems is very small.
