Step 1: Open your diffuser
Use the included key to open the device. Loosen the lock on the side and carefully remove the front panel.
Step 2: Remove the oil reservoir
Pull out the part with the blue bottle. Unscrew the blue bottle from the diffuser.
Step 3: Pour your scent into the blue bottle
Take your ScentPod (the glass scent bottle). Unscrew the cap and pour the scent into the blue bottle. Screw it back into the diffuser and make sure it's securely tightened.
Step 4: Put everything back together
Place the diffuser head with the filled oil reservoir back into the device.
Note: always keep the device upright once there's scent in it. The oil can leak if it tips over.
Step 5: Choose your power source
You can choose batteries or the included power cable.
We recommend batteries, this way the device stays wireless and sits neatly in your interior. The batteries last about 6 weeks.
Check that the black slider switch is in the right position:
Battery: for battery power
Power: for use with the power cable
Step 6: Close the diffuser
Close the front of the device again using the key.
Once more: from now on always keep the device upright. Otherwise the scent can leak out.
Step 7: Attach the wall bracket (optional)
Want to hang up the diffuser? Use the included wall bracket.
For smooth tiled walls, just use the special sticker
For other walls, use the included wall plugs and screws
Then hang the diffuser on the bracket.
Step 8: Install the app
Download the "Scentech" app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone. Open the app and select the device that appears (usually called 'A1-V3').
Step 9: Set up your diffuser
Give your diffuser a recognizable name, such as "Living Room" or "Bedroom".
You can optionally choose a label name, but this isn't required.
Tap the plus icon to create a scent schedule:
Choose the days the schedule should be active (e.g. Monday to Friday)
Set the times you want it to diffuse scent, such as 7:00 to 9:00 or 17:00 to 22:00
Choose the desired scent intensity. The higher, the stronger the scent
You can create multiple schedules, for example a morning and an evening schedule. In the manual you'll find a table explaining how much oil is used per intensity.
Step 10: Done
Your diffuser is now fully set up.
Want different times on weekends? Just create a separate schedule. From now on, your Scentech works automatically according to your preferences.
