How to use Scoutpad on a mobile device?

Some easy steps for the usage on your tablet or smartphone.

You can also work on Scoutpad from your mobile devices such as your tablet or smartphone. The mobile version of Scoutpad on app.scoutpad.de can be used on multiple devices with a minimum screen size of 5 inches.

Add Scoutpad as shortcut on your mobile's screen

Follow the instructions below to add a Scoutpad shortcut on your mobile's home screen.

Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to app.scoutpad.de.

  2. Tap the three dots ⋮ in the lower-right corner of your screen to open a menu.

  3. Tap ADD TO HOMESCREEN.

  4. Click on ADD.

This will place an icon on your home screen. Next time you just need to click on this shortcut to open the Scoutpad mobile version directly.

Safari

  1. Open Safari and go to app.scoutpad.de.

  2. Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.

  3. Tap ADD TO HOMESCREEN. The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.

  4. Click on ADD, Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.

This will place an icon on your home screen. Next time you just need to click on this shortcut to open the Scoutpad mobile version directly.


Offline usage

Scoutpad works even without wifi-connection. For mobile usage offline, follow these steps:

  1. Add a new match on your desktop or mobile device.

  2. Open it once you have an internet connection to load all of the match data.

  3. Setup the team lineups. You can take the first step on your PC and edit your match later on your mobile device.

  4. Open Scoutpad in online mode on your device you want to use and log in.

  5. Now, you're all set for offline mode.

As soon as you reconnect to the internet, your data syncs automatically. Scouting made simple!

Note: Ensure that the web browser is not closed when working offline with Scoutpad. An offline login function is currently not supported.
