In this guide you'll learn about working with Single Reports, how to use them, control the report data you'll able to enter, as well as how to modify and create your own statistics.

When you open a report, it populates with data from our system (if applicable). The report includes the data points that are listed in our database. Use the pitch's position circles on the upper right to select a position for the relevant match. The performance indicators linked to this position are shown below. To modify the player's bio data, just tap on EDIT.

Activate Match Recording

Start your scouting report using TAP TO START MATCH RECORDING. This way you'll able to record a complete timeline of the player's action and evaluations. You can also change the time by manual input.

If a player is not in the starting line-up but is substituted later, select the green triangle on the left next to the timer. In the substitution box, add your time and click on SUBSTITUTED. For a substitution out, tap the red trianlge. In both cases, the substitution event is added to the history chart of the report.

Rate a player

Scoutpad uses unique player evaluation indicators with everything you need to rate players in every aspect that matters. We have over 30 traits and skills that are organized into 3 main categories: ON THE BALL, OFF THE BALL and PHYSIS. Read here more about how to customize the shortcuts and position-specific indicators shown on the report page.

Clicking on a shortcut opens a scale from ++ to --. Tap on the rating you want to add and the perfomance evaluation is automatically saved and added to the HISTORY tab on the left.

Use match events and notes

You can record relevant event data with less effort. For example, you can collect details for goals, assists or yellow (red) cards and make it easy to automatically sync the match result.

  1. Open the NOTES sideboard by tapping the respective notes button on the upper right.

  2. Tap on GOAL or ASSIST and the match result will be updated.

Using the space beneath the event buttons, you can write (or dictate) a note about the player and add any tag you want to help you stay organized and find your note efficiently afterwards. For team notes use the separate bar on the left side.

Delete ratings or events

Each rating, event or comment that is already included in the report is listed in the left pane at HISTORY. You can delete an item from the report by following the steps below:

  1. Tap on EDIT EVENTS.

  2. Click on the red minus button.

  3. The item then will be no longer counted for the statistics.

Add a final match rating

The pdf-preview facility provides you the option to revise your report and to modify or add notes.

CATEGORY: This dropdown allows you to add the player to your favourite list with a category that ranges from NOTABLE to IMMEDIATELY. The four items to categorize players are:

  • Notable: Player that is interesting to look at and worthy of note

  • Perspective: Player who is targeted for a closer scrutiny

  • Focus: Player considered for immediate transfer but needs final evaluation

  • Immediately: Player that is recommended for an immediate transfer

FINAL MATCH RATING: Add a final rating for the player in terms on how he has performend this match. All player's single match ratings added in the different reports are summarized as an averaged Overall Rating on the player detail page.

COMPLETE REPORT: Tap this to synchronize your statistics and events of this report with the player detail page. Otherwise, the report's data will not be added to the players profile.

GO TO MATCH: Select this button to open the match report and re-work on it.

EXPORT: This button exports the single report as shareable PDF-file.
