How to change a player's team? | Scoutpad Help Center

In some cases it's necessary to transfer a player to another team. For example, Max Mustermann is currently listed at Team A and should be moved to Team B. You can change the player's team within the reports using the following steps:

For Match Reports

Click on CREATE REPORTS.
Enter all relevant match data, including the team you want to transfer the player. (NOTE: the player's current team may not be selected as the home or away team).
Tap on SAVE.
In the opened match report, click on ADD NEW PLAYER at the bottom left.
Search for the player on ADD PLAYER FROM DATABASE.
Select the player.

NOTE: For all new reports the player will be listed at the new team. However, for reports created before the transfer, the player is still listed in the squad of the old team.

For Single Reports

Click on CREATE REPORT.
Enter all relevant match data, including the team you want to transfer the player.
Start typing the player name and tap on CREATE PLAYER.
Select the team you want to transfer the player to.
Search for the player on ADD PLAYER FROM DATABASE.
Select the player and click on SAVE.

NOTE: For all new reports the player will be listed at the new team. However, for reports created before the transfer, the player is still listed in the squad of the old team.

Change a player's team in player details page

You can also change the player's team via the player details page, here is how:

Locate the player and open his profile page.
Click the EDIT icon (the small green pencil icon next to player's name).
Now you will be able to edit all player personal information including his current team.
Type the name of the team you want to transfer your player to and select it from the drop down menu.
Tap on SAVE. The player will be transferred in the selected team and all changes will be saved in your database.

Delete Custom Players

You may also delete your private custom players from your database.

Open the list CUSTOM PLAYERS.
Tap on the trash icon on the right-hand and agree to the deletion process.
The palyer will be removed from your list and from the team's squad.
