What a Slot Machine campaign can be used for

How it works: users are presented with a vertical machine of icons or images that scroll quickly, mimicking the feel of a slot machine. When the reel stops, one item is randomly selected and revealed. It’s fast, visually engaging, and creates a sense of anticipation—perfect for capturing attention and showcasing rewards or content in a playful way.

Use cases:

🛍️ Retail & E-commerce
Highlight various products, deals, or mystery offers.

🍔 Food & Beverage
Add menu items, daily specials, or surprise treats → users "spin" to randomly receive a deal or bonus offer.

To set up the Slot Machine campaign, open your campaign and select the game format. From there, you can add your images, configure the outcome, and customize the look and feel.

We suggest using an existing design kit as a base—then simply update the prizes and visual elements to match your campaign.

When you enter the game page, go to Settings. Here, you can adjust various elements such as:

  • The size of the game

  • The number of columns (choose either 1 or 3)

  • The number of icons visible at one time

For example, you can choose to show just one icon (as seen in the image above) or multiple, depending on your campaign's style and goal.

When you enter the 'Content' section, you'll have the option to choose from a selection of pre-made icons. Once you click on one, you can customize its design as needed.

Note: We recommend starting by setting up the actual prizes (if you already know them). This way, you'll be able to select the correct prize from the dropdown when editing each icon.

You can also add a custom name for each icon, depending on how you want it to appear in the game.

Next, you can upload a background image that will appear behind the entire slot machine.

There’s also an option to upload a second background image, which appears behind the slot machine itself. (Tip: In this case, it often makes sense to reduce the reel gap for better visual balance.)

To adjust the reel gap, go to the 'Style' section, where you’ll find the relevant setting.

In the 'Style' section, you’ll also find various design options for each part of the reel.

Lastly, you have the option to add extra effects to enhance the reel animation and interaction.

The rest follows the standard campaign setup, where you design the full flow—including the overall campaign structure, prize pages, and emails if needed.
