How long does ScribbleVet keep recordings for?
Audio recordings are stored for 90 days before they're automatically deleted for privacy purposes. Transcripts, however, may be stored in your account indefinitely once scribbled, even after the original audio is deleted. You're also able to send us a deletion request to delete all the data within your account.
Are they ever deleted? Can they be deleted?
Yes, all recordings are automatically deleted after 90 days. If you’d like to retain a copy for your own records, you can download the recording before the 90-day period expires.You may also manually delete recordings at any time by navigating to: Transcript section of your visit → Recordings → Select the audio you wish to delete. This cannot be undone; deleted recordings cannot be recovered.
Can they be subpoenaed?
ScribbleVet will comply with lawful requests such as subpoenas, in line with our Privacy Policy (linked here).

We went through an independent audit that evaluated everything from how we encrypt data to how we control access and manage risks. We also completed a penetration test or simulated cyberattack to confirm our systems are built to hold up under pressure.
