Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a way to automatically tell my clients they are being recorded?
Yes! Scribble has a feature to alert clients that the call is being recorded. Go to Settings > Practice > Phone numbers to select or deselect this option.

What if I call out and my client does not want to be recorded?
Always ask for consent before recording. If the client says no, then you can stop the direct dialer recording by selecting the square record button. You can always dictate a note for scribbling after the call.
Help! The direct dialer will not allow me to add the practice phone number and is displaying an error.
A phone number can only be used once. If the practice number was already verified on another account, that account admin/owner will need to remove the number to free it for the practice account. Please have them go to their settings and select the 3-dot menu next to the practice number and select delete.
Can I verify multiple lines? We have various phone extensions for our practice.
A phone number can only be attached to a single practice, but you can use multiple extensions to dial out from. Add as many department or on-call phone lines as needed. Then, staff can record phone conversations using Scribble from various extensions, with the phone number on the client end showing as the practice's main line.
Can multiple doctors use the direct dialler to call out at the same time?
Absolutely- the direct dialer does not tie up the phone lines, and multiple doctors can use the call-out feature at the same time to record their callback conversations.
