How does the timeline view work in Site Task?

A timeline view or calendar view of tasks helps to visualize your project's progress, track productivity and make communication far easier. Tracks what happens and when. Knowing the hierarchy of tasks and what needs to happen before something else can take place is a crucial part of project management.

Site Task timeline shows you the planned tasks which you can filter using criteria such as Assignee(s), Location(s), contractor(s), start date, end date, tasks ready to start, delayed, planned, overdue, pending approval, creator(s) and contractor(s).

Also, you can select different periods such as a week, 2 weeks, or any specific time period.

Here are the steps to see the timeline view of Tasks in Site Task:

  1. Click Site

  2. See the picture below and follow the red arrow

  3. Click the calendar which will give you a timeline view of tasks.

4. You can use various filters such as date, contractors, assignee(s), creator(s) etc. Follow the red arrow in the picture below.
