📋 Overview
Scrypt Mobile allows patients to manage prescriptions (pharmacy-sourced and ASL/MySL sourced), place medication orders, and communicate securely with their pharmacy.
To enable these features, each customer must be invited and linked to your pharmacy via Scrypt HQ.
🧑💻 Prerequisites
You must have access to Scrypt HQ to view or edit the customer's profile.
The customer must have a valid mobile number or email address recorded in their Dispense Systems profile.
The pharmacy must have Scrypt Mobile enabled as part of their Scrypt subscription.
🚀 Steps to Invite a Customer
1. Open the Customer Profile
In Scrypt HQ
Use the search bar to find the customer by name, or Scan the Dispense Label barcode to find the associated customer
2. Confirm Customer Details
Check that the customer’s mobile number and/or email address are correct.
If any information is missing, update these details from the Dispense System.
Refresh the page
3. Send Invitation
Click the Invite to Scrypt Mobile button (located at the top right of the profile).
Choose the preferred invitation method:
SMS invite – sends a link via text message.
Email invite – sends an email invitation with the same link.
Review the preview message and click Send Invitation.
4. Customer Receives the Invitation
See 📝 Register with Scrypt Mobile.
The customer will receive a message with a secure link to download Scrypt Mobile and connect to your pharmacy.
The secure link will either redirect to download the app, or
if the app is already downloaded, the secure link will automatically open the app and insert the unique registration code to start the registration process.
Once they complete registration, their Scrypt Mobile profile will automatically link to your pharmacy.
✅ Verification
After the customer connects successfully:
The customer’s Mobile status will update to "Active” (Green) in their profile.
The customer can now:
View and manage prescriptions.
Chat with the pharmacy through secure messaging.
🧩 Troubleshooting
Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
Customer didn’t receive the invite | Incorrect contact details | Confirm mobile/email and resend. |
Invite link expired | Link valid for 14 days | Resend the invitation. |
Customer account already exists (conflict 409 error) | Account already exists via another profile OR linked to another tenant |
