Additional Clauses

Click the three dots in the Action Menu or in the Navigate your CP area.

Please note, Additional Clauses can be selected from the Clause Library or created from

scratch.

Clause Library

Clauses in the Library are available to all users of your company ONLY.  They cannot be seen by other users of Sea/contracts.

Your company Clause Admin(s) is responsible for the content of your Clause Library.

They have access to create and edit content and should be contacted should you have any queries of requests regarding your Clause Library.

Manually Add Additional Clauses

When creating a new clause (or clauses) within the application itself, this clause(s) will only be applicable to the active CP. It is not stored in the Clause Library. If a copy is then created from this CP, the clause is retained.

If multiple pages of Additional Clauses have been copied over from, for example a Word Document, the clauses can be split individually by highlighting the clause title and right-clicking your mouse to select split Clause, as below.

Sorting Additional Clauses

Additional clauses are arranged in the order that they are added. However, they can be re-ordered, if required by dragging and dropping:

If Additional Clauses are added, a title is automatically created including the Vessel name and CP date, visible in the Editor view and on the exported CP PDFs:
