For users with the functionality enabled, additional clauses can have Cautions added as warnings for other users. These warnings can be approved by Admins as being justified or they can be rejected.

  • To add a caution to an additional clause, you need to have the Caution Editor role assigned to your account.  (Please contact Sea/support if you require this role).

  • After an additional clause has been added and the CP is SAVE. You will be able to click on CAUTION THIS CLAUSE.

  • Type in what you need your company users to pay attention to and click ADD.

You will see an orange button in the action column once a caution clause has been added. When clicked on, it will take you directly to the Additional Clauses Section where the cautions are displayed.

When hovering over a caution, you will see the following information:

  • Caution message

  • Name of the person who raise the caution with timestamp

  • Name of the person who last updated the caution with timestamp

  • Name of the person who approve/reject the caution with timestamp

There is also a switch that allows you to toggle between additional clauses with or without cautions against them.
Toggle ON will only filter and display additional clauses with cautions raised against them.
Toggle OFF will display all additional clauses, with and without cautions raised against them.

When the CP is copied, any existing clauses with approved Cautions will be automatically be flagged so the new CP can include them or not.

CP's with Cautions can be searched for via the Advanced Search field 'Show Only Cautions: Y/N' in the Search page.

Any CP with pending Cautions can be identified by the orange page icon on the right hand side of the Results grid.
