How to pay for your order
There are different ways to pay for your order in Sellar. Lets go through them.
Once you have finalised your basket with the supplier you wish to order from and begun the check out process, your payment options here will depend on whether your are on proforma or credit terms with the supplier you wish to order from.
Proforma
You will have the option to pay now with card or pay after placing your order if you don’t have access to a payment card.
Credit
You will have the option to select either your credit account set by the supplier or Pay now with card.
How to view special pricing set by the supplier on your account
If a supplier has applied a discount to all or set products, this will be visible when viewing the supplier’s storefront before raising an order.
You will see a strikethrough next to the trade price, with the pricing assigned to your business next to it.
How to view which suppliers have offered your business which payment terms
If a supplier has applied credit terms to your business, you will be able to see this on the My Suppliers page
If you are a new customer or not yet connected with a supplier, you will be on proforma terms by default.

I already receive a discount direct with a Sellar Supplier, can this be applied to my Sellar account?
Absolutely. We highly recommend moving across all discounts, permanent line agreements, and other bespoke pricing onto your Sellar account to continue to make ordering simple and efficient with all your direct suppliers.
You can reach out to the supplier whose credit terms or bespoke pricing you already receive direct and have these applied onto your Sellar account. This will make your ordering simple and efficient with all your direct suppliers.
We recommend using the Contact Supplier button to send them a message directly stating your account's pricing be moved across to Sellar.
If you have reached out to your direct supplier and have yet to receive a response, please email bec@sellar.io to look into this for you.
I wish to discuss pricing with a Sellar Supplier, how can I do that?
If you are looking to discuss bespoke pricing with a Sellar supplier for your account, we recommend reaching out to them using the 'contact supplier' button where you will be able to message them directly and discuss your requests.
After an offer or negotiation has been accepted, the supplier will then apply the agreed terms onto your account for when you next place an order with them.
Please note, discounts will only be applied to all future orders once the agreed terms have been assigned by the supplier. Previous orders will not be credited the difference.
I would like to request credit terms from a supplier I wish to order from
It is at each supplier’s discretion which businesses they wish to apply credit terms to.
Head to your supplier’s storefront and click the Contact Supplier button to message them directly for your request. If approved, the credit terms will be applied to all future orders.
Can discounts and credit terms from another Sellar account be transferred to a new Sellar account?
Yes, but this can only be done by the supplier who has offered the discount/credit terms. Please reach out to them from your most up-to-date account and 'contact supplier' to propose your transfer request.
