Learn how to place an order with a specific supplier or through Sellar Market.

Specific Supplier

You know exactly which supplier you wish to order from

Sellar Market

You wish to place an order based off recommendations from your search results ie. filtering by style, direct delivery, price, latest releases etc.

Search for a Supplier you have ordered from before

  1. Click on the My Suppliers tab on the top left of the Sellar app.

  2. Type the supplier’s name you are looking for in the search bar located at the top of your screen If the supplier you wish to raise an order with is not listed.

How to place an order with any Suppliers on Sellar

  1. Head over to the supplier’s storefront from either you My Supplier list or which you have discovered through Sellar Market.

  2. Locate the item/s you wish to order and select the quantity of each product by clicking the +/- button next to each item to be added to your basket.

  3. Once you are happy with the items located in your basket, click view basket to view your order for a full breakdown of products and any discounts or delivery fees applied.

  4. Scroll down on your order to click the Go To Checkout button. (Note if you are not satisfied with your order, you can click back on to the supplier’s storefront to continue adding items to your basket)

  5. You can now view Your Order Request page which will display general information about your order. You can edit any information just for this order or add notes for the Supplier.

  6. Click Continue to head to Review

  7. Edit or add any purchase order numbers you wish to add or your Trading / Company name before selecting continue. (Note you may need to confirm your duty requirements if you order cask or keg)

  8. Make your payment: your options here will depend on whether your are on proforma or credit terms with the supplier you wish to order from. (Learn more about Proforma and Credit Terms here)

  9. Click next once you have selected your preferred payment option.

  10. On this page, select whether you would like to receive an invoice for your order and edit the email address you would like it to be sent to and toggle between Yes and No for email marketing from the supplier you are raising an order with.

  11. Click the Place Order Request to submit your order to the supplier. Your order is pending approval.

FAQ

I wish to order from multiple suppliers

Sellar is a space for each supplier to share their live availability list, set their own payment terms and apply individual volume or price discounts. Because of this, you must check out with each supplier individually before ordering with the next so that separate invoices can be made available.

I clicked on the My Suppliers tab and it took me to the Market page

This is because you have not yet connected or raised an order with a supplier.

In the Market there are two actions you can take:

  • Use the Keyword search bar and type the name of the supplier you are looking for

  • Browse through the sections of the Market page to find a supplier

I would like to request credit terms from a supplier I wish to order from

It is at each supplier’s discretion which businesses they wish to apply credit terms to.

Head to your supplier’s storefront and click the Contact Supplier button to message them directly for your request. If approved, the credit terms will be applied to all future orders.

I have ordered from this supplier before but I can no longer find them

We're working hard so that over 250 active suppliers are listed and can trade direct with buyers on Sellar, however, some suppliers are no longer active on the app for a variety of reasons:

  • They are no longer trading

  • They no longer wish to focus on direct sales

  • They do not have enough inventory to expand to new sales areas

  • They are not available on the Market

The supplier doesn't have a product listed which I would like to order

The item you wish to order may be no longer listed on the supplier's storefront for the following reasons:

  • The item is currently sold out

  • The item is seasonal and has not yet been re-released

  • The item was a one-off and will not be made available again

If the reasons listed are not applicable to the product you are unable to locate and you believe it should be available on Sellar, you can submit an item request at bottom of the Supplier's page.
