Add Users to Sellar

Before you start remember:

  • You can invite as a many users as you need to Sellar.

  • They will all be able to order from Your Suppliers or through the Market.

  • Users can be removed, see here.

  1. Click your Business name in the top right of Sellar.

  2. At the bottom of Business Details use the Add User button

  3. Enter the email of who you would like to invite in the box and click 'Add User. You can only invite users one at a time.

Make sure all users (including yourself) update their User Details in Your Name > Your Account. Your profile settings can be found by clicking your name in the bottom right of Sellar. Uploading a Profile Image and updating you Job Title lets Suppliers know who they are chatting to about orders on Sellar.

Checking Business details

Double check your details before starting to place orders.

In Sellar we need some information from you to know who the Supplier invoices and sends things to. We advise you double check these details before you place an order.

Trading Name - The name you do business under

Company Name - Your legal registered name (if its different to the trading name)

Business Email - Where are notifications go for orders and messages

Invoice Email - Where invoices are sent to from Suppliers

Delivery Address - Where the Supplier delivers to and how we work out how they deliver to you.

Invoice Address - Where the Supplier invoices are sent (if its different to the delivery address)

Delivery Instructions - Sent to every Supplier you order from. Useful is its hard to find you or you have unusual access.

Business phone number - Passed to suppliers when you order

VAT number - Your VAT number for invoicing

Notifications

Make sure you get all the right notifications for your orders from Suppliers.

Each users in Sellar has their own notification settings. We recommend looking through and making sure the ones you want to catch are turned on. The categories are:

Connections - When you connect with one of your current or a new Supplier on Sellar

Messages - When you message a supplier about an order or anything else.

Order Events - As your orders are placed and processed.

Your changes are saved automatically as you tick and untick the boxes.

Alternatively you can turn on notifications to be sent straight to your browser. Keep Sellar open in your Internet browser. throughout the day and we will let you know when orders move.

  1. Use Turn on Notifications button.

  2. Allow us to send notifications in your browser.

  3. All done.
