Label printing

For both APC and UPS orders, you can print labels to a thermal or A4 printer.

Make sure labels are created forย APC or UPS orders first.

Make sure the shipment has been created first. See how to do this for APC and UPS.

  1. Look out for the 'Get labels' button on your Sellar Shipping orders. Click the button to print your labels

  2. Choose your label type from the dropdown options depending on your printer:

    1. ZPL (Zebra Printer Language) - Thermal Label Printer (4x6 in size)

    2. PDF - A4 printer (We recommend putting these in document pouches)

  3. If your printer is connected to the device you are using Sellar on, use the 'Print' button and follow your standard printing instructions.

  4. Alternatively, you can save the labels to the device as a PDF, using the 'Save As' option.

If nothing happens when you click print, make sure your browser 'allows pop-ups'. This may block the printing dialogue.

Best practices for labelling kegs

If you are shipping kegs with Sellar Shipping, we advise you to follow these steps to ensure there are no issues during transit with the labels.

Use waterproof shipping labels to prevent wet conditions or condensation on the keg from deteriorating the label. If the label becomes disfigured, scratched or falls off, the keg's shipping label can no longer be scanned and is likely to become lost.

Top tips for labelling kegs:

  • Place one label on the side of the keg and one label on the top. This is to cover the risk of one label falling off or becoming disfigured.

  • If using standard shipping labels, you can put cellotape or pallet wrap around the keg to prevent condensation, or from the label from being ripped off.

  • If using standard A4 paper, please use a documents enclosed pouch to keep the label safe. Alternatively, cover the label with clear tape or pallet wrap so that it creates a waterproof seal.
