Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: On your Homepage, scroll down to just below the Earn Rewards Program display. Tap on "Identity Verification" to get started.
Step 2: Select Your ID Type. You'll be asked to choose your preferred identification method. You can select either:
NIN (National Identification Number) or
BVN (Bank Verification Number)
Type in your ID number carefully, then tap "Continue" to proceed.
Step 3: Proceed to take a Quick Selfie. To ensure your verification is successful:
Use good lighting – Helps the system capture your features clearly
Hold your phone steady – Prevents blurry images
Remove anything covering your face – No sunglasses, face masks, or hats
Once you're ready, tap "I'm ready to get started" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4: After you've submitted your selfie, give it a moment to process your ID and photo. This usually takes just a few seconds.
Step 5: Approval
Once your verification is complete, you'll see a confirmation screen:

Verification failed - Ensure your ID is clear, and matches the selfie you submit.
Selfie not accepted - Ensure you're in a well-lit space with your face fully lit and visible, facing the camera, and without any headgear, face caps, or facial coverings.
Error during submission - Check your internet connection and try again.
User already enrolled - It means you have an already verified account, duplicate accounts are not allowed on Sentz.
