Transfer Limits

Transfers are unlimited inside Sequence - but when money moves between Sequence and the outside world, there are limits to keep things safe and reliable.

What Transfers Count Toward Limits?

Only external transfers count.

This means:

  • Any funds pulled from an external account

  • Any funds pushed to an external account

Example:

  • Moving money from an Income Source to a Wells Fargo account = 1 transfer

  • Moving money from Wells Fargo and splitting it into 4 different Pods = 4 transfers

An external transfer does not include debit card transactions from a Pod.

What Are the Limits on the Number of Transfers?

  • Starter plan: 10 external transfers per month

  • Pro plan: 25 external transfers per month

  • Growth plan: 100 external transfers per month

  • Premium plan: 200 external transfers per month

Viewing Your Usage

You can always check your current transfer count:

  1. Open the Activity Log on the right side of your screen

  2. Look in the top right corner to see your usage

Important

Internal transfers do not count toward the monthly limit.

Examples:

  • Pod → Pod transfer

  • Income Source → Pod transfer

These are unlimited.

What Happens If You Go Over the Limit?

  • First, you’ll get an email warning when you’re getting close to your monthly transfer limit.

  • If you cross the limit, you’ll receive another email letting you know you’ve gone over.

  • From that point, every additional external transfer will still go through, but each one will incur a small fixed fee based on your subscription plan.

This way, you’re always notified in advance and can choose whether to adjust your usage or continue with the extra cost.
