Your Personalized Financial Flow

Sequence helps you automate how your money flows - securely, intelligently, and on your terms. Here's how to get started:

  1. Connect your accounts

Link your external accounts, such as bank, credit card, investment, and crypto accounts. These are the accounts Sequence monitors and moves money between.

  2. Map your money

See all your accounts in one live dashboard. Get real-time insight into your balances, cash flow, and activity.

  3. Set your automations

Create flexible automations to route money where it needs to go - based on income, balance, or date.

  4. Sequence moves your money

Once your automations are live, Sequence takes action. When the trigger you set fires, we automatically and reliably move your money between accounts.

  5. Adjust anytime

Your goals can evolve, and your system should too. Edit your rules or update connections anytime.

The Income-Based Model

Here’s the most efficient way to route money in Sequence:

Step 1: Funds enter your Income Source

This is either a Sequence-owned or External Account (typically your business checking account or payment provider) where your income from clients, sales, or other business-related sources lands.

Step 2: Sequence takes over

From your Income Source, Sequence routes money into any other External Accounts you’ve linked and to Pods (smart buckets that hold funds for goals like Savings, Bills, or Investing).

This setup is what makes Sequence so powerful:

  • One entry point

  • Rule-based automation

  • Seamless movement across your financial life

Why it matters

Routing money through Sequence gives you:

  • Total visibility over your finances

  • Real time automated transfers

  • Budget funds by purpose

No dashboards that just observe. No budgeting tools that stop at plans. Just real automation, built around your goals.
