Mews Group Sync
When updating a Booking to Tentative or Definite, it will have the option to update the Event Temple Group Status, however, it will not automatically create the Group in Mews as an availability Block. You must edit the Group & select Create on PMS for this to occur
Updating a Booking to Lost will automatically change the Group Status to Lost & cancel the Availability Block in Mews. We automatically set the cancelled reason as “Other” with a note “Canceled in ET”
Mews Reservations
When updating a Booking to Tentative, or Definite, no changes will be made to Reservations.
When updating to Lost, you can Cancel Reservations & choose whether to charge a cancellation fee. The lost reason selected in Event Temple will be sent to Mews as a cancellation reason.
Note, in order to cancel a Group, you must cancel the Reservations. If you attempt to cancel a Group (ie Mews availability block) without cancelling the reservations, you'll be prompted with this notification: Sync To PMS Failed: Cannot Unconfirm availability blocks with assigned operable reservations
