Once your booking request has been submitted, the hotel receives it immediately.
At this stage, no payment is taken — only a temporary bank authorization is recorded. The hotel has a few days to contact you by email or phone to either confirm or decline the request. Please remember to check your spam folder and missed calls.
If you haven’t heard back within 48 hours, you can:
Contact us, so we can follow up with the hotel and ensure your request is handled,
or reach out to the hotel directly to arrange a time to confirm (or decline) the booking.
If your booking is confirmed, the amount will be charged to your payment method.
If it’s declined, the bank authorization will be automatically released (for credit/debit card payments), or your Sezame gift card will be recredited (if you paid using a gift card).
