What is Archiving?

Archiving a deal in Shaker will remove it from your active deals view and allow you to select a reason for archiving in order to report on the deal properly. Arching a deal will not delete the deal, but rather remove it from your standard kanban and list views.

NOTE: Incomplete tasks will remain on archived deals, but will no longer show as to-do's on your dashboard.

How to Archive a deal

Deals can be archived in any of the following ways

  • From your deal kanban view: Hover over a deal card and choose "archive"

  • From your deal list view: Hover over the right-hand side of a deal and choose "archive"

  • From within the deal: Click Actions > Archive

Archive Reasons

When archiving a deal you will be asked to select an archive reason.

  • Choosing Closed will ensure the closed deal is removed from active viewing but still populate in reports such as sales volume, units, commissions, etc.

  • Choosing any other reason such as withdrawn or fallen through will archive the deal data, but that data will not calculate into production reports.

Where do Archived Deals Go?

Archived deals are still stored within Shaker. To view them, go to Deals > List View and check the "Show Archived" box above the table.

  4. Hover over the deal you want to reinstate to reveal the unarchive button
