Once connected we can never see the secret again as they are immediately encrypted.

Role Mapping

In order to sync contacts from transactions in SkySlope, to deals in Shaker you will need setup role mapping. To map a role, Match the SkySlope contact types (left side) to the corresponding role in Shaker from the dropdown menu.

If you have a SkySlope contact type that does not have a corresponding role in Shaker, you will need to add that role to your settings.

  2. On the left side of the deal page, locate the "Connections" section

  3. Click the Sync Icon (will read "Sync from SkySlope" when you hover over it)

  4. You're done. You will see a small green message at the top of the page to let you know it was successful

  5. Click "Ok"

  6. You're done. You will see a small green message at the top of the page to let you know it was successful

*Note* Unlinking a deal from a transaction does not delete the transaction in SkySlope.

Limitations:

Due to SkySlope's API permissions, documents will not be sent from SkySlope to Shaker but documents can be sent from Shaker to SkySlope.

Shaker can only sync one contact per contact type to Shaker. For example, if you add a 2nd attorney in Skyslope, Shaker will only have access to the primary attorney.
