Buy orders
You can invest in your advised portfolio at any time with a one-off buy order or set up an auto-invest for regular investing.
Each buy order spreads your money across all the investments in your advised portfolio.
Go to your advised portfolio, and select ‘Buy’.
Enter a dollar amount to buy, then select ‘Review’.
Check your order details are correct, and read the info (including fees and order processing times for managed funds).
Select ‘Buy’ to place your order.
Auto-invest orders
Auto-invest orders for advised portfolios need to be made for each individual advised portfolio that you have. You can not make one auto-invest order for multiple advised portfolios.
How to set up an auto-invest for an advised portfolio.
Open the advised portfolio you wish to create an auto-invest for.
Tap Auto-invest
Enter the amount, frequency and start date
Confirm the auto-invest.
If you want to edit, pause or cancel an auto-invest you need to go into the advised portfolio that you created the auto-invest for, tap auto-invest, tap manage and follow the prompts.
Sell orders
You can sell from your advised portfolio anytime.
When you sell you are selling all investments in your advised portfolio at once.
Go to your advised portfolio, and select ‘Sell’.
Enter a dollar amount to sell or ‘Sell all’, then select ‘Review’.
Check your order details are correct, and read the info (including fees and order processing times for managed funds).
Select ‘Sell’ to place your order.
Settlement times
When you place an order for a portfolio that includes managed funds, it takes some time to confirm the price you’re buying or selling units for.
The time it takes depends on the fund provider:
Smartshares—one business day
Pathfinder—two business days
Milford—two business days.
