You can sell some or all of your KiwiSaver investments at any time, but the money has to stay within the Sharesies KiwiSaver Scheme. This means that once your sell order is complete, we’ll automatically use the money to place a buy order according to your investment plan. Transaction fees apply to self-select picks.
Go to KiwiSaver > Investments.
Choose the investment you want to sell, and select Sell.
Enter the number of units to sell, or select Sell all to sell all of the units in that investment at once.
Confirm your sell order.
Once your sell order is complete, a buy order will appear to reinvest the proceeds based on your investment plan—this usually takes 2-3 business days. You can update your investment plan during this time, until the sell order is complete.
