Whether you’re joining for the first time or an existing member, Sharesies KiwiSaver Scheme allows you to select multiple base funds as part of your investment plan.

New members

When signing up for the Sharesies KiwiSaver Scheme you’ll build your investment plan, where you can select the base fund or funds you want and set the % amount you want to invest in each investment option. You can have as much or as little in each base fund; [and if you are also using self-select] you just need to ensure you have at least 50% allocated to your base funds

Existing members

Edit your investment plan to change your base funds or the percentage allocated to each of your base funds and picks. You can edit your investment plan at any time.

  1. Go to KiwiSaver > Investments > Your investment plan

  2. Select Edit to add, remove, or change base funds or picks or percentages

  3. Select Next > Select this investment plan to confirm your changes.

Your changes will only apply to future KiwiSaver contributions. Editing your investment plan doesn’t automatically sell your existing investments, you can do this from the investment overview page.
