Your current achievement types can be found in the sheep settings section. Go to settings.sheepcrm.com and log in to your CRM user account if not already. From the settings section, click on the teams / groups tab in the navigation and click on achievement types option.

Adding a new achievement type

A new achievement type can be added from the existing achievement types list. Click on the add achievement type button in the top right of the page. This will bring up a blank sidepanel with the following fields:

Name

Enter a public-facing name for the achievement, this should be kept as concise as possible.

Category

Enter a category or type that can be used internally for managing your achievements.

Sort Order

Enter a number to control the order shown in sheepTeams. Lower numbers will appear first.

Description

Enter a public-facing summary or explanation of the achievement that will appear in sheepTeams.

Steps

If applicable, add each step that makes up the achievement. These will be treated in sheepTeams as checkboxes which can be ticked off to track progress towards the achievement. Click on add step to add a new row for the step to be entered.

Image

Optionally, upload an image for an achievement. An icon can be used instead if no image is available.

Icon

Enter an icon name from the Google Material Icons font. Please note that this should be the snake_case version of the name, which can be easily found by clicking on the android tab in the right-hand bar of the google fonts page.

Icon Colour

If using the icon above, you can set a colour for the background of the icon, creating a simple 'badge-like' look for your achievement. Click on one of the colour suggestions, or click on the coloured dot next to custom: to bring up your web browser's colour picker tool.

Experience Required

If applicable, outline any experience or criteria needed in order to pass the achievement. Public-facing, but can be useful for your staff or team leaders.

Objective

If applicable, outline the goals or objectives for the achievement. Public-facing, but can be useful for your staff or team leaders.

Link

If applicable, enter a full URL to a third-party website or extra information if the achievement needs it. Public-facing, but can be useful for your staff or team leaders.

Duplicating an achievement type

Existing achievement types can duplicated and used as a base for new types. From the existing achievement types list, scroll down to the desired achievement type and click on the duplicate icon located to the right of the type. This will create a copy of the type in the list which you can then rename and edit as needed.

Editing an achievement type

From the existing achievement types list, scroll down to the desired achievement type and click on the name or the edit icon located to the right of the type to bring up a sidepanel with the current data. For more information on each field, please see the adding a new achievement type topic above.

Deleting an achievement type

While we strongly advise not to delete existing achievement types, if the type is no longer needed it can be deleted. To delete an achievement type, scroll down to the desired achievement type and click on it to bring up a sidepanel with fields containing the current data for the type. Click on the delete option in the bottom right of the sidepanel, confirming the action to completely delete the achievement type.

Please note that deleting the achievement type will remove a lot of legacy data with any contacts that previously had this achievement type. To avoid this, we advise setting the achievement type to inactive instead of deleting the type entirely.

Adding an achievement to a contact

Achievements can be added to contacts through the contact sidepanel or, if being used, through the team section of sheepCRM. For more information on adding achievements to team members, please see this article.
