Your current donation restrictions can be found in the sheep settings section. Go to settings.sheepcrm.com and log in to your CRM user account if not already. From the settings section, click on the giving tab in the navigation and click on the donation restrictions option to view your existing venues.

Adding a new donation restriction

To add a new restriction, click on the add donation restriction button located in the top right of the existing restrictions list. This will bring up a blank sidepanel with the following fields:

Name

Enter a name for the restriction, keeping it as clear and concise as possible.

Description

Enter a more detailed explanation of the restriction, outlining what falls inside and outside of the restriction.

Editing an existing donation restriction

From the existing restrictions list, scroll down to the desired restriction and click on the name or the edit icon located to the right of the type to bring up a sidepanel with the current data. For more information on each field, please see the adding a new donation restriction topic above.

Applying a restriction to a donation

Once a restriction is created, you can go to the donation record and add the restriction. To do this, locate the contact that made the donation, go to the giving tab on their sidepanel and scroll down to the donation you wish to add the restriction to.

Click on the actions button and select the change donation restrictions option to bring up a window with the existing restrictions, if any exist. Enter the name of the new restriction into the field and click on the match when it appears in a list below.
