Learn about this specific feature for handing payments for sheepEvents tickets.

sheepCRM can now facilitate users wishing to purchase tickets (an order) via sheepApp, or internal flock users adding orders to a sheepEvent with the option to select to pay by invoice.

This is a sheepCRM Invoice - which you should consider as a payment mechanism (a way to collect payment). This invoice is part of a wider feature which is an order statement as you will see below.

This feature is not mandatory and you do have full control over whether to allow/not allow the option to pay by sheepCRM invoice for event orders by adjusting your settings accordingly. The following options are available:

  • All events tickets

  • All tickets for a specific event

  • Individual ticket classes on a specific event.

How do I navigate to sheepCRM Events?

Go to core.sheepcrm.com and log in to your CRM User account, if not already.

Select Events from the top navigation (green) bar.

How do I view the Invoice for a Contact who has purchased an Event Ticket?

Select the Event relative to the Invoice you wish to view.

Select Manage next to the subheading Event Details.

Select Orders from the top navigation (white) bar.

Select the desired Contact and then Actions next to the subheading Order Summary.

Select View Order Statement.

This will bring up a copy of the Invoice with the option to print by selecting Actions>Print Invoice.

How does a member Purchase an Event Ticket and select the option to pay by Invoice?

This is done by your flock/users through the sheepApp.

Select Events> the Event Name> Tickets> Input number of tickets on preference> Checkout> Final check of order> Continue> Pay on Invoice> Place Order

Please Note: The option to View and or Print an order statement can be found under their email address.

How does a contact Purchase an Event Ticket and select the option to pay by Card?

Repeat the above steps and once a selection is made to view/print an order statement the following example is displayed and there is a button to Pay by Card.

Here they are also able to download a copy of the invoice for their records.

How do I view a list of all Tickets purchased for an Event?

Select Events> Select Event> Manage> Orders

There is an option to export this list as an XLS file by selecting the downward arrow in the top right of the screen.

How do I add a Payment for an Event Ticket that has been purchased by Invoice?

Select Events> Select Event> Manage> Orders

Find the buyer and open the order > click on the actions button for the order and you will see an add payment option.

Can Orders placed internally be set to pay by sheepCRM invoice?

Every order that is added to an Event generates an order statement which can be shared with the buyer however they can only pay the Invoice via sheepApp if this has been set up in settings.

Can I take a Payment over the Phone for an Event?

Not by using sheepCRM currently, but if you have an internal method you can collect payment then record that payment based on steps above?

Can an Event Invoice be included as a Hyperlink in sheepCRM email?

Not currently, this is being reviewed, and updates to follow.
