If you are on the new version of Smart SEO - if you have installed Smart SEO after 4th of April 2024, there are no uninstallation steps you need to take, you simply uninstall the app from the Settings -> Apps section in your Shopify administration.
However, if you are on the old version of Smart SEO, you need to remove the integration of Smart SEO from your theme to make sure there are no leftovers.
To do that, go to the Settings page from the left sidebar:
You will then be redirected to the Smart SEO Setup page. To remove the app integration, please click the Remove integration button:
Once the integration is removed, you can delete Smart SEO from the Apps section in your Shopify admin by clicking the Uninstall button:
