Your domain is more than just a web address—it’s how your brand shows up online. To make sure your website or landing pages look polished and trustworthy, you need to connect your domain from your provider to your CRM. Thankfully, what used to be a tricky process is now super simple with Domain Connect.
Domain Connect takes care of the heavy lifting by automatically setting up your domain with just one click—no need to mess with DNS settings or anything technical. Whether it’s a main domain or a subdomain, Domain Connect makes the whole process smooth and easy. This guide will walk you through how to get your domain connected to your CRM in no time.
Please Note:
This is a domain connection feature, not a domain hosting feature. You need to have already purchased the domain in either Google Domains, Go Daddy, or Cloudflare for this to work.
1. Log in to your sub-account and navigate to your Settings >Domains tab.
2. Click on the Connect a Domain button to begin the process.
Enter your root domain or subdomain in the provided field. If adding the "www" subdomain as well, you'll see an option to add the root domain.
3. Click on the "Continue" button to proceed
4. If your domain is with Google Domains, Go Daddy, or Cloudflare, you will be shown your domain provider
Note: For Godaddy, you would be taken to the domain provider where you have to click on the connect button to authorize the connection
5. Next, you would be shown the neccessary records that needs to be verified for the connection to occur
Please Note: If you do not have these records setup on your domain provider, you would need to head back and add the neccessary records as provided by the CRM else the CRM
If you get this error, you need to create or update the neccessary records on your domain provider
To add the neccessary records, head over to your domain provider and locate the section to manage your domain
Select the neccessary records and input the host and pointing values as given by the CRM, in this case we are setting up the
depending on the interface of your domain provider add these records:
1. A record host should be @ and points to 162.159.140.166
2. Cname record host should be www and should point to sites.ludicrous.cloud
Once you have entered the value hit the create or add button while adding each record and give it a while to update
6. Head back over to your CRM and verify records again, this time, it should verify the record
Once authorization is complete, close that tab and return to the Domain Connect interface.
Please Note:
For Google Domains, it will not complete the authorization process until you close this tab and head back to your sub-account.
The necessary entries will be added in the system, confirming the connection between your domain and the CRM.
If your provider isn't supported, you can manually add the required DNS records with instructions provided in the interface.
Verify that the connection has been successfully established by testing your domain. Changes may take up to 30 seconds or more to reflect.
