Step By Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to the Experiments tab on your navigation bar.
Step 2: Start a new experiment by selecting the "Create new" button. This button begins the experiment creation workflow.
Step 3: Choose the type of experiment to run - such as Prepaid Offer
Step 4: On the experiment creation screen, view your existing checkout as the control group. Select Add Test Variant to introduce a new version for testing changes.
Step 5: Enter a clear name for your variant (like "Variant with Prepaid Offer"). In the details, apply settings such as a 5% discount for prepaid payment options.
Step 6: If your variant includes an offer, select Create new Payment offer. Complete these steps: - Set the discount rate, valid payment methods, and any limits

Step 7: In the split traffic section, assign what percentage of shoppers see each variant (for example, 70% to the control group and 30% to your new variant).
Step 8: Name your experiment (e.g., “5% OFF prepaid experiment”), clearly state the goal and select which metrics to track like prepaid share or average order value.
Pick the most important metric as your primary focus, then continue.
Step 9: Review a summary of your experiment setup, including the control group vs. test variant and their traffic splits. Verify all details are correct.
Step 10: Preview the checkout experience for each variant. This helps ensure both the original and variant checkouts look as expected before launch.
Step 11: Schedule when your experiment will run (for example, set a 30-day period). Review one last time and save your setup.
Step 12: Track your experiment’s status - scheduled, active, or ended - in the Experiments dashboard.
Step 13: For insights, open the Analytics tab related to your experiment. Compare key metrics across all variants to see what performs best.
