A payment offer applies a discount automatically when a shopper picks a specific payment method — for example "Extra 10% off on UPI" or a prepaid-only discount. It's one of the most effective levers for shifting shoppers toward prepaid or your preferred payment modes, which lowers RTO and payment costs.
→ Open Discounts → Payment Offers in your Shopflo dashboard, then click Create payment offer.
How to Create a Payment Offer
Step 1: Setup. Under Method of application, choose When a payment method is selected (Automatic) and give the offer a Discount title (e.g. PREPAID15). Set the discount value — Percentage off, Percentage off upto (capped), Fixed amount, or Add a free item. Under Payment modes for this offer, choose All online payment modes or Set for individual payment modes to target a specific mode, then enter the value (e.g. 15%).
Step 2: Cart conditions. Choose No conditions, or restrict the offer by purchase amount or number of items in the cart.
Step 3: Customer eligibility. Pick who qualifies — All customers, First-time customers, Lifetime order count, Specific customers, Specific customer segments, or UTM parameters.
Step 4: Usage limits. Optionally cap total uses or uses per customer, and set the Active period (start date/time, optional end date).
Step 5: Preview. Set the Payment offer title on checkout — keep the Default ("Extra <value>% off") or customise it. The right-hand preview shows how the tag appears on each eligible payment method.
Step 6: Click Create discount. Enable the offer from the Payment Offers list (Status on checkout toggle) when you're ready to go live.
