Most shoppers decide whether to buy while they are still on the product page. Before a festival, a birthday or any date that matters, one question comes first: will it arrive in time? If that answer only appears at checkout, plenty of shoppers never get that far.
Shopflo now shows the estimated delivery date right on your product page, so shoppers get the answer while they are still deciding.
What Shoppers See
The estimated delivery date appears right under the variant selector, next to the details a shopper is already looking at.
Logged-in shoppers with a saved pincode see their date straight away, with nothing to type.
Everyone else enters a 6-digit pincode and gets their date.
If you have set a delivery message, such as "Order before 4 PM, delivered tomorrow", it shows alongside the date. If a pincode is not serviceable, no date is shown for it.
How the Date Is Worked Out
The date comes from your shipping rates for the shopper's pincode. If more than one rate applies, the shopper sees a range from the earliest to the latest delivery day, so the promise on the page holds.
Why This Matters
Delivery is a buying decision, not an afterthought. When the occasion has a date, a shopper who cannot see when the order will arrive often waits, or leaves to check somewhere else.
The answer lands where the decision happens. Showing the date on the product page gives shoppers delivery confidence before they reach the cart, instead of making them discover it at checkout.
How to Switch It On
Step 1: Navigate to Flo PDP, and click on the widget: Delivery.
Step 2: Customise it to your brands product page.
Step3: Click Activate.
Step 3: Now, Open any product page on your store, enter a pincode you ship to, and check that the date shows under the variant selector.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
The date is only as accurate as your shipping rates, so review them before a big sale. Keep any delivery message short and true: a cut-off time that you always meet builds more trust than an ambitious one you sometimes miss.
