What is an AHRI matchup?
An AHRI matchup refers to a certified combination of HVAC components (such as a condenser, air handler, or furnace) that have been tested and verified for efficiency and compatibility by the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). This certification ensures that the selected HVAC system will function properly together, meeting performance and efficiency standards.
How does Sibi determine HVAC matchups?
Sibi pulls AHRI-certified data to ensure that all HVAC matchups are verified for compatibility. Instead of searching AHRI databases or manually cross-referencing specifications, you get pre-matched, fully compatible systems ready to order.
Does Sibi show live availability for HVAC systems?
For some distributors, Sibi displays live availability, so you can confirm stock before purchasing. If live availability is not shown for a specific supplier, standard ordering processes still apply.
Can I refine my selection to match specific property needs?
Yes. You can filter matchups based on:
SEER rating (efficiency)
Tonnage (cooling capacity)
Cabinet width (space fit)
Configuration (horizontal, upflow, downflow)
BTU output (heating performance)
Once you apply these filters, Sibi will only show certified matchups that meet your exact specifications.
How does this improve the HVAC ordering process?
Before HVAC Matchups, ordering a system required:
Looking up AHRI-certified matchups manually
Cross-referencing specs to ensure compatibility
Manually adding each component to an order
Now, you simply select, filter, and add a complete AHRI-certified system in seconds—eliminating research time and reducing order errors.
What happens if I don’t see the matchup I need?
If a specific system isn’t listed, it may be due to:
The system not having an AHRI-certified matchup.
A required component being out of stock.
The system falling outside of residential HVAC parameters.

How do I order additional parts?
Currently, you should first add the matchup to your truck, which will take you back to the main store. From there, you can search, filter, and add any additional parts you may need before proceeding to checkout.
How do I order the matchup from the location(s) I prefer?
Once you find and select the matchup you are looking for, you should be able to “Check nearby locations” for each product in the matchup. This will allow you to see and select nearby locations sorted by distance. From there, choose the location that works best for you based on product availability and distance.
Do I need to order the full matchup?
No. Once you find and select the matchup you are looking for, you can de-select or select individual products by using the “Select” checkbox at the top left of each product. When you hit “Add items to truck” or “Buy now”, only the products that are selected will be included in your order.
