GE Appliances Return Policy

If you need to return a GE Appliance, here’s what to know.

All items must be returned in their original condition with the carton, parts, and manuals included.

For home warranty customers: Once an appliance is installed, it cannot be returned. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Return window

  • All returns must be authorized by GE Appliances and received within 30 days of the Return Authorization date.

  • Returns are not accepted after 90 days from the original invoice or delivery date, whichever comes first.

Types of returns

  • Crated (unopened): If the product was shipped in error by GE, there’s no charge. For all other unopened returns, a 10% restocking fee plus freight applies.

  • Uncrated (opened): If shipped in error by GE, there’s no charge. For all other opened returns, a 15% restocking fee plus freight applies.

  • Damaged items: Damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at the time of delivery (including model and serial numbers) and supported with photos. Without proper documentation, standard restocking fees apply.
