Goal
Create your first Field Location (typically a van or a warehouse) and attach it to the right Office.
Who
Org Admin (or Office Manager, for locations in their Office).
Steps
From the Field home page (wrench icon in the main navigation), click Create New β New Location.
Pick the Office the location belongs to, give it a name (e.g. "Truck 1, North Crew"), and optionally pick a template to pre-populate inventory.
Submit. You'll land on the new location's detail page.
Notes
A Field Location must belong to exactly one Office. To move it later, edit the location's Office assignment from its detail page right rail.
"Field Location" is the umbrella term throughout this guide. Today they're typically vans (for mobile crews) or warehouses (for stocked workshops).
