Goal
Fix an issuance that was logged against the wrong property.
Who
Office Manager or Org Admin. Techs cannot reassign issuances themselves. They flag the mistake to their Office Manager.
Steps
Open the location's detail page → Feed tab. Filter the Feed by Issuances to narrow to issuance entries.
Find the issuance with the wrong property and click into it.
Use the reassign-property action.
Pick the correct property, enter a reason, and optionally add a note. Confirm.
The fix is recorded as an append-only audit entry, so the original assignment is preserved alongside the correction. The issuance itself updates in place; the reassignment also shows up as a separate entry in the location's Feed.
Notes
Reassignment lives in the web admin only. There's no mobile equivalent. If a Tech notices a mistake, they should flag it to their Office Manager rather than trying to fix it themselves.
