Yes, you can run video ads with Sid.
To run video ads through Sid, you will need to have a video file ready to upload to our platform. The video file should be in a supported format, such as MP4 or MOV. We recommend keeping the video length between 15-60 seconds to ensure maximum engagement from your audience.
Make sure to upload your videos in the Brand Hub in the settings page.
Running multiple ad formats can affect your budget
When running campaigns on LinkedIn, it’s important to note that each campaign can only contain one ad format. This means you cannot mix image ads and video ads within the same LinkedIn campaign. As a result, running both formats often requires a higher budget since multiple campaigns need to be created.
On Meta (Facebook/Instagram), however, this limitation does not apply – you can mix image and video ads within the same campaign.
How we handle this in practice:
For some customers, we run only image ads on LinkedIn, while using both image and video formats on Meta.
This is perfectly fine, but it’s important for customers to be aware of the difference so expectations are clear.
