Understanding user rights & access for a Coach

As the Owner of your platform, you can create, edit and use all the features, but a Coach does not enjoy the same benefits as you. This article outlines steps to understand and make other platform features accessible to a Coach.

Some features are standard for all Coaches & some extra features can be offered to specific Coaches.

Standard - Account Level

Features	Coach Access Rights
Content Library	Create & Manage - Self View & Use - Content shared by other Colleagues.
Forms	Create & Manage - Self View & Use - Forms created & shared by the Owner.
Journeys	View & Apply Templates shared by Owner.
Contracts	No access
Notes templates	View & Apply Templates shared by Owner.

Standard - Engagement level

A Coach is assigned to an individual or cohort engagement by either the Owner or the Program Manager and cannot create their own engagements.

Features	Coach Access Rights
Goals	Complete access to create/modify.
Notes	Add/Manage self Notes. View all notes taken by previous coaches.
Sessions	Complete access to create/modify.
Actions	Complete access to create/modify.
Resources	Create & view public content.
Shared Space	Share with the client & view.
Nudges	Complete access to create/modify.
Stakeholders	Complete access to create/modify.
Digital Tools	Complete access to create/modify.
Forms	Can send the Form. Access responses of the client

For specific Coaches

Depending on how your business is structured, you might want to give specific individuals who are Coaches additional access rights at your account level.

Features	User: Coach
Contacts	Manage & View
Organizations	No access
Engagements	Add & Modify
Analytics	Filter, access & export all records.
Confidential Fields (in Contacts)	View
Coach Finder	No access

To grant additional access to coaches, navigate to "Admin" > "Manage Users", apply the Role = Coach filter, select the specific coach, and scroll down to "Access Rights" to update permissions.

Toggle the options to Yes or No, depending on the features you want to give access to.

Customize the Engagement level Feature Access

Depending on how your business is structured, you might want to give specific Coaches access to certain platform features, enabling granular control based on their needs and engagement type.

Note: The ability to select specific features is available only with the Optima plan.
